Privacy policy

Aech AI Inc. (“Aech”, “we”, “us”) runs aech.ai. This policy explains what personal information the website collects, why, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Agent Aech never takes custody of customer data or systems: the work it does for customers runs in their own environment, under their agreement with us.
What we collect
- When you contact us
- The contact form asks for your name, work email, company (optional) and a message. If you email us, we receive what you send.
- When you browse
- Like any website host, our hosting provider, Vercel, processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
- Analytics, only if you allow it
- Vercel Web Analytics records page views, the page that referred you, and your browser, operating system, device type and country. It uses no cookies. It recognizes a visit by a hash of request data that changes every day, so it can’t follow you across days or other sites.
- In your browser
- If you choose light or dark, or make privacy choices, your browser remembers them in local storage. They never leave your device.
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t sell or rent personal information.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and set up a conversation.
- To keep a record of our conversation in our customer relationship management (CRM) system, so we can follow up and manage our relationship with you.
- To tidy the details you send and filter spam. An AI model reads your enquiry to split your name, tidy your company name, write a one-line summary for us and flag spam. Our code checks its answer against what you typed.
- If you allow analytics, to learn which pages are useful.
We email you only about your enquiry. We won’t add you to marketing email unless you ask us to.

Our CRM runs on systems we operate ourselves in Canada. Each provider handles your information only to provide its service to us. Information processed in the United States is subject to US law and may be accessible to authorities there. Under OpenAI’s API terms, data sent to its API isn’t used to train its models.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and CRM records: while we’re in conversation, and for up to two years after our last contact. If you become a customer, our agreement with you sets how long we keep records.
- Analytics: Vercel keeps visit counts under its own retention limits. There are no cookies or visitor profiles to delete.
- Hosting logs: kept briefly by Vercel under its retention limits.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.
Your choices and rights
- Analytics stays off until you allow it. You can change your choice at any time with , also at the bottom of every page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a no.
- You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email privacy@aech.ai. We reply within 30 days.
- If you’re in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries you send us, and on your consent for analytics. You also have the rights to restrict or object to our processing and to data portability, and you can complain to your data protection authority.
- In Canada, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in British Columbia, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia. Please contact us first so we can try to put it right.
Security
The site uses HTTPS. The contact form’s email service signs in with short-lived credentials instead of stored keys, and only the people who handle enquiries can see them.
Children
This website is for businesses and isn’t directed at children.
Who is accountable
Our Privacy Officer is accountable for how we handle personal information.
